Pertussis (Whooping Cough)

We have been informed of a confirmed case of Pertussis (commonly known as Whooping Cough). Please be vigilant in regards to your child's health and refrain from sending them to school if they are unwell.

Anaphylaxis

There are students attending Our Lady Star of the Sea school who are at risk to life - threatening allergic reactions, particularly to nuts and nut products. Prevention is better than a cure so the rule for students is the “no sharing of food rule”. 

Please be mindful of other students' allergies when providing food for your child at school. 

Happy Holidays

Enjoy the end of Term 2 holidays. This term has been busy with sporting activities, cultural activities, Sacramental programs and fabulous learning. 

Farewell Fr Darien who will take up a new appointment as Parish Priest at St Michael’s Ashburton in September.  

Congratulations Isla Briggs on making the Victorian State Team in Football.

Indonesian Day saw students learning different games and dances played and learnt in Indonesia. As a school classes have been reading "Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih". The senior year levels played Badminton and Sepak Takraw. Students sampled Indonesian cuisine.
