He Is Risen
God of our journey, God of hope, we give you thanks and praise, as we gather in a different way to begin a new term together.
May all who are part of this community, feel connected and find a welcome place
to grow and be.
Especially at this Easter time, give us the grace to continue our journey with hope and joy.
This we pray in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
Dear Parents and Carers,
We trust you had a happy Easter with your family.
Welcome back to what will be a very different looking term at this stage. We hope you will continue to feel the sense of belonging, support and love from school to home.
Easter is a true message of hope. Click Here Easter Message from Archbishop Peter Comensoli to listen to his Easter Message of hope during these very challenging times.
Learning from Home: Our staff have been exemplary in their approach to the preparation for learning from home. We feel very blessed with all staff’s passion and commitment to bring the best learning we can to your children. As we have said, it may not be perfect to begin with but we will work with you and it will evolve over time.
We hope you will enjoy the online learning platform and package shared with you today including a gift of happiness from us to you https://vimeo.com/407468107/6e33bc5f0f which we have shared also on the landing page of Learning from Home. This is a show of love and fun from us to you all. Many thanks to Marianne Caddy for sourcing the brilliant song and Andrew Rayson and Marianne for filming all staff and motivating us.
A very special mention and thank you to Andrew McLeish and family for sharing their expertise and time in editing and having it ready for presentation. This was greatly appreciated in what has been a very busy day for all staff.
Click here for the letter sent to families yesterday and we will also add this advice and guidelines to the school website for those needing to refer back to it.
Capital Works Stage 1:New works:
Over the holidays we have completed some work and some is ongoing.
A new doorway into the staff planning room in Purple Hub from the foyer.
An extension to the outside seating area of Purple hub. This is ongoing work but will see more artificial grass and retaining walls and also help alleviate some drainage issues in that area. We will send through photos when complete.
A Painter or artist wanted: As the big shed will be dismantled in the next month or so, we are wondering if there are any interested painters in our community who would like to paint the backdrop that we currently have on our shed wall onto the portable. See photos below.
If so please call the office 52554308 to set up a time to take a look.
Sending warm wishes and many blessings to all our families during this time.

CSEF - CAMP, SPORT AND EXCURSION FUND
INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
Every Victorian child should have access to the world of learning opportunities that exist beyond the classroom. The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) helps ensure that no student will miss out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, educational and fun activities. It is part of making Victoria the Education State and the Government’s commitment to breaking the link between a student’s background and their outcomes.
School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are a part of a healthy curriculum.
CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.
If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.
The annual CSEF amount per student is:
- $150 for primary school students
HOW TO APPLY
New applicants should Click here for CSEF Application Form or contact the school office to obtain a CSEF application form.

You only need to complete an application form if any of the following changes have occurred:
- new student enrolments; your child has started or changed schools this year.
