At our recent Earth fest event, we had a display showing the Hands Up data for our school for the last ten years. In analysing the data we have made a steady improvement at school over a long period of time. The data showed that we averaged around 50% of students when we first began the program in 2010. Our work with promoting safe travelling to school has resulted in around 70% of our students now making an effort to travel actively to school. It is great to see and it is particularly pleasing to see some of the kids who need to be driven to school being dropped off near the school so they can still travel actively for some of their commute.
