Earth Fest 2019

On behalf of the entire school community I would like to thank the many dedicated volunteers who have given up many precious hours to contribute to the amazing success that was,  Earth Fest 2019!

Heartfelt gratitude to the passionate and dedicated team behind the scenes!

The relentless efforts, experience and massive contributions of Ty and Rachael Simmons, unwavering support, from the first day until the very end of the evening and beyond. To Matt Connell for agreeing to take on the role of stage manager and skilfully co-ordinating the stage and our amazing performers.  

To our generous and hugely talented parent musicians and their fellow contributing performers... thank you for thoroughly entertaining us all evening.

To Sharon Ashton and Tania Cipriani for continuously asking what they could do next and working from day one of this idea until the very last  moments of pack up! Christine Paraska, Jen Birmingham and Alison Dove for your past experience, suggestions and for taking control when  required.

TIna Mobbs and Rachael Thomas for their many dedicated hours of sewing, design and creating such beautiful artwork for Earth Fest, working with students, and into the wee hours at home. To Hayley Bennett for her amazing energy, dedication and tenacity when seeking and taking care of our sponsors and donors, with such outstanding results.

To Chris and Shannon Bryan for helping us develop our logo and including the children in the design; for following through to print and getting us out in public- including hanging the signs in the park- THANK YOU!

Shereen Wolfe and Emily King, and the team for generously offering their creative talent and skill throughout the evening with the children's activities, Jorja McKinnon for her wealth of knowledge, passion and connection to all things sustainable. Matt Geerings and Leah Cole for organizing an assortment of deliveries and packup. To Warren Jankowski and Paul Prout who generously worked from morning till night, on the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly and safely .

To the parents who turned up, knew we needed help and offered. To the ones along the way who stayed longer than planned and a special thanks to those who helped clean up at then end of the night and were determined to stay till the last trailer rolled out!

Finally,  Alison Healy, Kellie and Keith Clark  - we could not have pulled this off without you, all the way through - to the very last minute!
