Sports Update

Regional Cross Country

Congratulations to the following students who proudly represented our school at the Regional Primary Schools Cross Country event on Thursday, 19 June 2025, at Brimbank Park, Keilor Park Drive, Keilor East:

  • Augie Hinch – 5th

  • Ines McCaffery – 38th

  • Harry Miller – 40th

  • Connor Murphy – 17th

  • Fletcher Reid – 42nd

  • Harvey Stefanovski – 3rd

Each race featured approximately 95 students from across the Western Metropolitan primary region, making this an extremely competitive event. We are incredibly proud of all six students for their determination, sportsmanship, and outstanding efforts on the day.

very special congratulations to Harvey and Augie, who placed in the top twelve and have now qualified for the State Cross Country Championships, to be held on Thursday, 24 July at Yarra Valley Racing Club, Armstrong Grove, Yarra Glen. An exceptional achievement—well done!

Division Football

On Tuesday, 24 June, the boys competed in the Bellarine Division AFL9s competition at South Barwon Reserve. They played exceptionally well, finishing first in their pool before unfortunately losing one of the finals, which saw them place third overall on the day.

Well done to all the boys who proudly represented our school on what was a very cold and windy day: Will Wolfe, Jack Radley, Sam Due, Ollie Williams, Lachlan Fay, Jack McLeish, Vin Bonacci, James Snowden, Harry Miller, Harvey Stefanovski, George Davies, Mitchell Paganini, and Jordan Leigh.

Division Netball

The Division 1 Girls Netball team represented our school very well on Thursday, 19 June in the Bellarine Division Netball Championships.  Winning all games in their pool, resulted in them playing finals on the day and their Grand Final game resulted in the team achieving the win by only 1 goal.  An excellent effort in teamwork and encouragement was evident throughout the entire day. Congratulations to Saffron Reid, Polly Hardwick, Lily Robinson, Lily van Maasdyk, Molly Warlond, Maple Campbell, Mia Rundle, Grace Miller & Madelyn Warren who will move through to the Regionals Championships in August.

Thank you also to all the parent support on the day with transport, scoring and cheering.
