Dear God,

We're thinking about "Bridging Now to Next," which means learning from what happened before and making things better now and in the future. We remember the First Nations people who lived here a long, long time ago. They have amazing stories, and they are very strong. Thank you for helping us be brave and keep trying to make things right.

Australia is special because lots of different people live here. We want to learn to understand each other and be friends. Help us learn from the past so that now and in the future, everyone in Australia feels important and respected.

Please help us understand how others feel and be kind to everyone. Help us listen to the stories of the First Nations people and learn from what they know. Give us the courage to say when something isn't fair and to stand up for people who need our help.

We hope that this Reconciliation Week helps us all try harder to make Australia a place where everyone is treated well, not just this week, but always. Help us shine like a light for hope, fairness, and everyone being together, for all the people who lived here before us, for us now, and for everyone who will come after us.
