Student short term medication
If a student needs short-term medication to be administered at school, such as paracetamol, antibiotic medication, or soothing creams and ointments, the school requires a fully completed Medication Authority Form. Both the AHPRA registered Health Practitioner (including a Medical Practitioner, Pharmacist, Nurse, Dentist) and the parent/guardian need to sign and date the form before providing it to the school. Medication cannot be administered without this completed authority.
Alternatively, parents have the option to come to the school and administer the medication to their child if necessary.
